New Kid on the Block!

Hi Busy Mummah's,

A belated Merry Christmas to you all! I hope things weren't too hectic for you. Wait- who am I kidding? It was Christmas, of course things were hectic! I know for a fact that my day was. So here is a quick run down of my day:

We were supposed to be up at the bright and early time of 06:30, with many hits to the snooze button we all crawled out of bed at 08:00 (we were just kidding ourselves thinking we would really get up at the scheduled time). Opened our presents, Master A was so excited he started ripping into gifts that weren't his, Master E too tired and confused to really give a damn and just played with the first toy he opened, Miss K snoozed in her baby swing oblivious to everything going on, Master J sorely missed as we were supposed to have him for access but that (not-suprisingly) did not happen, and Hubby T stoked to finally get an Xbox 360.

We then rushed around like headless chooks making sure everything was packed and ready for; lunch with Hubby T's mum and her side of the family, and then dinner with Hubby T's dad and his side of the family. This finished up just has his mum pulled in the driveway. Off we went to the beach for a fun-filled day of beach shenanigans and then a more formal dinner setting.

Seriously by the time we got home the kids were all pretty much asleep in their car seats and we weren't too far off it! Pretty sure I am only just recovering from all of the hectic-ness.

Most people are probably heading out for New Years Eve, well, not this fun-filled bunch of crazies haha. Hubby T will be working double shift and I will be staying home with my little bunch of monkey's and most likely babysitting for my FIL.

Since I am only new to this blogging scene I am thinking of new ways to "Umph" things up a little and make it a little bit more interesting! So comment and let me know what you would like to read and what would make things more interesting for you!

Finally, I will leave you with a question, comment your answer, or just have a think to yourself:
'What was your favourite Christmas gift that you received this year?'

xoxo Christie
